8 Reasons to Become Entrepreneur
Different strokes for different folks. Not all people are born with the tolerance of having to be tied to an office desk for 8 hours, 5-6 days a week. They packed up, left their posts, and with a firm conviction that they will succeed. For some stroke of luck or some miracle from heaven, a lot of them have, indeed, become winners in their chosen business undertaking. Read more Shopify POS
Need more convincing? Here at eight reasons why becoming an entrepreneur is the way to go.
Having the freedom and control over everything
As an employee, you are assigned with a certain task that is supposed to the overall performance of the company. As an individual contributor, your work is measured using certain factors or criteria. These factors or criteria will dictate the way you do your job just because it is already determined.
As a business owner, you get the upper hand on how you will run your business. You get to decide on your own performance metrics, if you even want to have those metrics, after all.
Your business, your rules
Working for someone means sticking to what the boss wants or to the standards set by the company. There is a room for creativity but it is restricted. One has to abide by the company rules on uniforms, behaviors, and a lot more.
An entrepreneur lives by his own rules. He gets to decide what kind of service or products to offer, how his business approach will be, how to market his own business, how many staff he wants, or whether he wants a necktie and black shoes as uniform, what color the windows will be. The idea itself might be exhausting already but if you look at it, it’s a whole new world opening up just for you. Get your free card reader POS
Time is in your hands
No need to stick to an 8-5 work schedule because as a business owner, you create your own. Of course, there is still a need to be time conscious and the discipline to sleep in early because, after all, you have a lot to work on and you need to start the day early to accomplish more.
Earn more than your paycheck
As an employee, no matter how hard you work of even if you already set camp on your office table, you can only earn as much. Regular employees receive a monthly salary, which is already predetermined. Overtime pay or commissions may add some amount to it but it will never compare to the amount you will rake in if you own the business yourself.
You can make a difference by creating your own brand
There is that idea brewing inside you for some years now and it’s time to set it free, to make it a reality. Create that service or product however you envision it to be. Make it unique. Make it stand out from the others. You set the limit on what this particular service or product can do.
Make this world a better place. Most entrepreneurs have this strong desire to make a difference in other people’s lives that’s why they attempted to do what other people are afraid to do.
You can choose the people who will work with you.
When you work in an office, you have no control over other people whom you will work with. You cannot opt out just because you’re stuck with an officemate from hell. When you’re on your own, you can handpick your staff. You have the upper hand into deciding what values you want from your staff, how you want them to behave, or how you want them to contribute to your success.
That sense of accomplishment
Nothing beats the feeling that you accomplished something on your own—that you were able to thrive despite all the odds. A lot of people may have doubted you at first, but now that you have proven yourself, they only have their own words to eat.
